Section 8 Project - Jardines Verdes
The Mesilla Valley Public Housing Authority (MVPHA) is pleased to announce the opening of the waitlist for the Section 8 Project – Jardines Verdes for: 1 and 2-bedroom units. The waitlist will open on February 21, 2023, until further notice. To apply, use our Online Application
The waitlist is only for elderly or disabled individuals/families.
If you or a family member is a person with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to apply, please contact our office at (575) 528-2000. Or you may apply in person Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm at 926 S. San Pedro Street, Las Cruces, NM 88001.
Individuals/Families will be selected in order by date and time of the application submission.

We will be accepting applications as follows:
- Apply Online
- Over the phone, at 575-528-2000
- In person, at 926 S. San Pedro Street, Las Cruces, NM 88001, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am through 4:00 pm
To apply you must enter the names, social security numbers, and date of births for all family members and list all income received for the family. At least one member of the household must have legal immigration status to qualify.
You must also complete the attached form, Supplement to Application Form #HUD-92006 and submit that to our office. You may mail it to 926 S. San Pedro St. Las Cruces, NM 88001, or use our drop box located outside of our office, or email it to publichousing@mvpha.org.
